There is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way. ;D

In my life I always was the most happy if I could make other people happy while helping, surprising, or teaching them. The most I am concerned about is to share the magic of creativity. If only a dream is born, and realized without any money, the creative potential of a person is - in my opinion - high enough to manage his life with bravery. As I believe everybody is creative, this applies for all human beings.

Nothing you do for children is ever wasted. They seem not to notice us, hovering, averting our eyes, and they seldom offer thanks, but what we do for them is never wasted.
[Garrison Keillor]

I love to work with children. While travelling and staying in other countries, I particularly want to enhance the creativity of children growing up in poor families. I believe that without money, but with a high creative potential, they could get what they are longing for. I would love to make them realize that with creativity they could fullfill themselves many of their wishes. No matter if they dream of a certain toy, new clothes, an own cup, or to surprise their relatives or friends.

All children are artists.
The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up.
[Pablo Picasso]

I want to encourage children to be proud on themselves, no matter what their origin is. I wish to give them with creativity the ability and strength to stand any negative influence. I believe if just a chance was given them by developing their own skills, they will look with open eyes into the world, with hope, with the security of knowing that they can do everything they really want.

A lot of the material needed for creating what someone wishes for can be found in the nature, the neighborhood, or just in the surroundings someone lives in. While many children in poor circumstances have to work for having at least something to eat, they might often not be able to develop their creativity. I do not say at all that poor children are not creative. In many cases they highly are, but often they make no use of it, may it be because they lack the time for it, or any other reason.

You cannot teach a man anything.
You can only help him discover it within himself.
[Galileo Galilei]

Adults could benefit from creativity, too. I have seen quite a few poor people, living in areas surrounded by rich nature, and wondered why they do not have a shelf, or a bench. In those areas inhabitants usually have a permission to cut the wood they need for their living (e. g., building houses, fire wood). Most of them built their own house, but hardly anyone seemed of having thought of creating his own furniture. Thus, having a little experience in making furniture and many ideas in my head, I could help them to see what they are able to do with what the nature is offering to them.

My little projects will develop out of different situations. It depends on what I learn about the people I meet. I do not plan any of those projects, I only hold my eyes open. Whenever I see a helping hand would be welcome, I will try to inspire. May it be a girl asking me shyly, 'Have you ever had a puppet in your life?', which initiates me thinking of creating a puppet together with her, or to invent new dishes with wild plants for a woman telling the family's income was too low to eat healthy. I will try to catch the right solution for their situation, and talk the idea over with them.

In the submenus you will find little projects that I have done so far. I hope you enjoy learning about them and get inspired to do similar activities. If so, I am convinced, the living circumstances for many humans in the world can be improved.

We are not put on earth for ourselves, but are placed here for each other. If you are there always for others, then in time of need, someone will be there for you.

The submenu surprises holds until now a few stories, which mainly arose from out of my own living circumstances. I mentioned already that I love to surprise people, especially the ones very close to my heart. Whenever I have a chance to surprise anybody else, I will do that. It gives me joy, makes my heart light like a feather, and causes happiness for the ones being surprised.
