I really yearned for finishing a necklace made of macrame I had started the other day. Looking back, it took me about double the time I had planned, approximately 2 hours. I always reminded me, “Keep it simple! Time is running! Embrace imperfection!” It wasn’t always that easy to keep in that mode, yet it helped me to avoid getting lost in too much detail (one of my past weaknesses).
The reason I created this macrame necklace was that for years (since 2010!, I got it in India) I was carrying this purple amethyst gemstone with me. A couple of months ago I finally tried to put it into a silver wire, so I could use it for a necklace. And today I managed to get it onto a necklace. Happy moment! 😀
